Founded in 1998 and located in Fuenmayor, in the heart of Rioja Alta, Altanza was born from a clear vision: to craft premium Rioja wines from Tempranillo grapes, combining the region’s winemaking heritage with a modern and distinctive style.

French Oak Ageing
French oak has been at the heart of the Altanza philosophy since day one.
Our cellar houses nearly 6.000 oak barrels, enabling us to produce refined, elegant wines with exceptional depth, structure, and outstanding ageing potential.
