20 months in new French oak barrels, followed by 3 months in 22 hl Allier oak vats.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-red color with garnet highlights. A complex and harmonious aromatic profile. Ripe black fruits such as blackberry and plum appear, accompanied by spicy notes, cocoa, and subtle toasted nuances from barrel aging. With aeration, balsamic and mineral notes emerge, adding balance and richness to the whole. Broad, deep, and harmonious on the palate, with polished tannins and well-integrated acidity that provides freshness. The mouthfeel is silky and persistent, leading to a long, elegant finish.
